Our Wonder Room

Serve The Lord

“And if it seems evil to you to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, whose land you dwell.  But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” (Joshua 24:15).

Many times have I heard these incredible words. However, this morning I found myself looking at them in what I think is a different way. These words should be a banner no matter what space I am in, not just my “house” where I live. My office. My classroom. My car. My neighbors house. The gym. My servitude does not stop at my doorway. I am always to serve Him, and may His Spirit always aid me in creating the same servitude when in the presence of the enemy in accordance to His will.

“The test of our progress is not whether we add more to the abundance of those who have much, it is whether we provide enough for those who have too little.”
– Franklin D. Roosevelt, 32nd US President (1882-1945)
