I am sure that when I think of these words from Woody Hayes I am also supposed to read in them in the context of His Word: “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.” – Galatians 5:22-23. Having this description of the Fruit of the Spirit helps me to better live out the word “persistence” because I seen persistence look awfully bad and unappealing at times.
