As the year ends, my mind naturally focuses on the next year. And what I am thinking of this morning is what am I going to do different, or try to do different in 09? Reading this quote above reminded of where my true growth lies. Comfort is good and needed, but God does not call me to a life of comfort. He calls me to grow, to finish the race. It is not in my nature to seek out people who disagree with me, but to avoid my perception of conflict. I know this has caused me to miss out on many blessing. God is probably shaking His head out how I have missed out on knowing him because of this.

May 2009 be prosperous for all.
