This quote that I read this morning was actually a lot longer. But this very first part got me thinking. Whether we realize it or not, each of us, as we spread the Word, are into marketing. In my professional growth, I’ve had to increase my own marketing knowledge. In a recent book I started reading, the very first “rule” of marketing is: be first. For most of the people I come in contact with, my God may not be their god. So I face an uphill battle. Interestingly, in the same book, the second rule: if you can’t be first, create a way or category in which you can be first. Here is where I connected to Trench’s quote. Is there any other God like ours? No way!

Okay, not any real earth shattering revelation. Just interesting for me to process.
