Last week I had lunch with a dear friend, and reading Faber’s words this morning rung in my heart. Often times it is hard to remember the initial connection that I had with a person that grew into “long, loyal, and self-sacrificing” friendship. But God knows, as He created the very seed of that connection. Who am I to know the power of a kind word or a simple smile, but I am so overcome by grace that God gives such power to such simple acts.
