Our Wonder Room

His Name: Our Peace

“For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations.”
Ephesians 2:14 & 15

Every day it seems that I find moments of conflict. Battles between what I want and what I can’t have. Between what I should do and what I want to. Between what I want and what I believe others want. It seems constantly there is a tension in my life.

Then enters Christ.

Christ came to bring peace. To be peace.

The battles inside me. The wars happening around the world. The anger and violence between people of differing beliefs and desires. The atrocities against the widows and orphans. Christ desires an end to all hostility.

But I think what Christ desires most is for us to find peace within ourselves that allows us to give our thoughts and desires over to Him. If each of us was able to win that battle, then how much stronger could we be for Him?

ps… to keep you updated on my fundraising effort for Graham and Danae, my church will match what I raise. To those of you who have donated already…thank you. Every little bit helps to glorify God. My goal is to be part of His work amidst this time for them, in whatever form that takes. Part of His miracle.
