“Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says…I’ll try again tomorrow.”
– Unknown
I had nearly forgotten that the other day I was talking to a friend about grace, mercy and peace. Not quite sure why this quote made me think of that conversation, but today I’ll need to spend some time in prayer and thought trying to figure it out. The terms are not interchangeable nor are they mutually exclusive. However, I did find a quote from Adam Clark this morning that will help me throughout the day as I ponder this. If anyone has their own thoughts they would like to share with me on this, I’d appreciate it.
“Grace, the favour and approbation of God. Mercy, springing
from that grace, pardoning, purifying, and supporting. Peace, the
consequence of this manifested mercy, peace of conscience, and peace with
God; producing internal happiness, quietness, and assurance.”
