“God loves with a great love the man whose heart is bursting with a passion for the IMPOSSIBLE.”
– William Booth
As I read that in a devotion this morning it immediately lead me to think of another quote, one more familiar to me: “Some men see things as they are and ask why. Others dream things that never were and ask why not”, by George Bernard Shaw. Personally I’m not filled with a “passion for the impossible” as much as I am on occasion to ask the “why not” question. After all, maybe the chicken crossed the road because someone told him it had never been done before OR because he had a Friend (a capital “F” friend).
Matthew 19:26 –
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
