These words just struck a chord with me this morning. No matter how long I live and how bad I screw things up, there will be some mistakes that I probably won’t make, simply because I have observed others. Which in turn got me to thinking about all the things recorded in His Word. Wow! Talk about learning from the mistakes of others!

You know me, being the eternal optimist, maybe some of my mistakes occurred to assist others in their learning. Heck, sometimes it doesn’t seem like I learned anything from them. Whether things of a spiritual, eternal nature, or just on the racquetball court, or business or in marriage, some things don’t sink in a quickly as others.
