“Jesus looked at them and said, ‘With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.'”
Matthew 19:26, The New International Version
This morning I have a lot of work stuff to get done and many meetings today, so my day is looking crazy. As started into my routine I was about to skip past my devotions, but I told myself I’d read just one. AND…it had the scripture above and I knew I had to stop and make time for God.
Seems we all have days where we are really busy and other days where we’re incredibly sloth-like. Heck, maybe they squeeze into the same day some times. It can be easy on ANY day to not create a vacuum in which there is a dialogue with God. Maybe it can only be a matter of moments, or maybe longer, but it is possible to commune with God no matter our circumstance. If you or I make the attempt, God will make a way. Perhaps we come out on the other side of our time with God still feeling rushed, or still feeling incredible lazy, but HEY we still had time with God. Definitely I’d rather have a crazy-busy day with God sprinkled in than just a crazy-busy day without God.
Blessings to you this day, no matter your circumstance.
“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
