Yesterday I was back at Everson Elementary, one of my favorite schools because of the diversity of the students. Being there always makes me think about how narrow minded I am in terms of language awareness. It always strikes me when I hear students moving effortlessly between languages. The diversity of language is something I shall choose to be thankful for today. Maybe I should make an effort to learn more Spanish (since that is the other language I hear most in classes and schools). Hmm.
