Seems like you all should know again that I am alive and well, just not writing too much, obviously. Been busy and holidays and whoosh, where does the time go?
Anyway, the words on my mind this morning, more like the middle of the night were, “fearfully and wonderfully made.” Not sure why exactly, although our bible study group did touch on that subject a couple of weeks ago. Must still be resonating with me. Could also be because of some other stuff going on, like reviewing some personality trait stuff. Always interesting to find affirmations about how God has wired me.
One of the things I found of interest this morning in my readings was this quote, that kind of brings those points above together:
“God doesn’t have to put his name on a label in the corner of a meadow because nobody else makes meadows.”
– Cecil Laird
Made me think about… me. How important is it to me to put my label on things I do, and why is it that way, or why not? If I am truly molding myself to be in His image, labels should be unimportant. Well, except when it comes to running a business. Afterall, life is about being F.R.O.G. (thanks, Carolyn).
