Reading these words this morning made me think of the temptation of silence. When, today, will I choose to be quiet instead of speak? It is so much easier to remain silent than to speak, for me. Yet how many times have I disappointed God by giving in to that temptation, that easy road? He’s probably jumping up and down screaming, “Say something”. Hmm, I just thought of the responsibility that I also have to speak for those who cannot speak for themselves.
