Being in the classroom with students makes this so very clear. Not a day goes by that even the most challenging student shows a glimmer of incredible potential as a writer, an athlete, a humanitarian, a performer… something. The challenge for me as a teacher, and for me as a disciple, is to build in others the confidence in their own greatness that comes only from God. Every seed grows only because of the nourishment that it receives. And it might just be me that God is calling to do so.
