This morning, actually right about now (5:15am) is when my friend Gary is having heart surgery. So maybe it’s appropriate that the above word came to me in my “word of the day” email that I get because I certainly have been praying that his surgery is without complication. Seems like an oxymoron to put “heart surgery” and “simple” in the same sentence, but that’s my prayer.
