The other morning I was having these crazy thoughts, and for the life of me I can’t remember from where they originated. But, I was wondering “why do ‘pare’, ‘pair’ and ‘pear’ sound the same but none of them sound anything like ‘near’ or ‘peer’?” Well, it was a longer discussion in my head than that, but you get the idea. The English language is very confusing.

Then, this morning, I was about to send out an email to “my list” but I needed to update a contact on it. And, lucky me, I thought I was hitting the delete button for one contact, but it deleted the whole list. So I’ve just spent about 20 minutes recreating “my list”. Call me weird, but nearly every computer program has an “undo edit” function… except when you need it. Again, computers are so very confusing.

And, as each of us wrestle daily in our spiritual walk, why should God be any different? If I can’t get my hands around the English language, computers or so many earthly things, how would I expect myself to be able to get my hands around Him?

Today, if you’re getting this random rambling from me, and wondering why, I apologize. Just let me know to take you off “my list”.
