I Admire Kind People
When I was young, I admired clever people. Now that I am old, I admire kind people.
When I was young, I admired clever people. Now that I am old, I admire kind people.
Life is made up, not of great sacrifices or duties, but of little things in which smiles and kindness and small obligations, given habitually, are what win and preserve the heart and secure comfort.
If there is any kindness I can show, or any good thing I can do to any fellow being, let me do it now, and not deter or neglect it, as I shall not pass this way again.
If you don’t have a smile, I’ll give you one of mine.
