These words encouraged me to think of a good friend of mine who is going in for heart surgery this week. These days something like open heart surgery is probably “routine”, but it is still scary.

“He said,
‘The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer;

My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold and my refuge;
