Guess I’d file that one under “Things that make me go hmmmm”. Semantics are such finicky things. “Thanksgiving” for me can’t disassociate itself from a turkey meal, family, pilgrims and Indians (sorry for being politically incorrect). Yet, “thanks-living”? That is a whole different can of worms. What the heck am I doing to show my gratitude for what God has done for me? Definitely a better action word for me, not quite as passive.

So, add that one to your vocabulary. Right next to a new one I heard the other day, “mediagenic”, to describe Barack Obama.
